Valutech offers Alfa Laval’s Brew Series of disc-stack centrifuges for use in pre-clarification, polishing, separation, and recovery processes within the brewing industry; specific applications include green beer and hot wort separation.

Brew series units feature a unique fully-hermetic feed design to ensure minimal oxygen pick-up and gentle handing of the clarified liquid. Other features include SmartEject: a self-triggering system providing intermittent discharge of high dry-matter solids, as well as a turbidity measurement system, a specially-designed VFD, low power consumption, and bowl-speed adjustment functionally. These features allow brewers to customize their separator to match changing performance and capacity needs over time, and to suit various applications in their process within a given period.
