A Board Certified Allergist Immunologist, is a medical professional with specialized training in diagnosing, treating, and managing allergies, asthma, and immunologic illnesses, including primary immunodeficiency disorders. To become a Board Certified Allergist Immunologist, internists, and pediatricians must complete at least two more years of coursework, known as a fellowship, in an allergy or immunology training program.
